Well, this is my first diary page; Wooo! Lol...
Today is about a month or so that I've been unemployed; just thankful that I've been able to move in to my mom's place with her. The last place I worked at was getting horrible as the new hires just don't want to work, call off constantly (sometimes multiple times a week), and are just useless to be honest; that and state/feds coming in constantly as well just made it miserable. NO THANKS I say; I'm not carrying anyone who can't even put forth the bare minimum effort >_>
These past few days have also been very sad for me as my aunt on my dad's side (his oldest sister) just passed away last weekend and I'm still kind of... not coming to terms with it? having a hard believing it? I still feel like a youngin' and that she should still be around, being her goofy self. It's hard getting older and realizing that your older family members are closer to dying than before. Also, my little cousin's one year old baby boy drowned and I'm so sad for him :'(
ANYWHO... on a lighter note, I found this Neocities site and was thrilled to start my own, non-corporate website!! Mind you I used to make ex-pages, angelfire, GeoCities, etc pages waaay back in the days; say, late 90's when I was but a little pre-teen hooked on the whole new "internet" thing, lol. Back then it was so fun learning html, stealing layouts *cough*- I mean, learning from others XD. Just like it is on neocities, everyone's sites were so different and unique to the site owner. Just felt so much more personal y'know?
So while I've been working on my site, I've been thinking about all my webcomic ideas and oc ideas as well. While I *love* drawing fanart, it's been kinda fun making up my own characters as well. Right now I'm working on the cover of a one-shot that I'm starting called "Mistbound Invitation". Hopefully I can get the courage enough to start it soon XD
